LEAH FRANKEL, who received her BFA from the University of Maryland, presents two different styles and media. Frankel’s pieces relate to that which is natural and manmade. Her hand blown egg installation, and sculptural book structure, both comment on natural cycles and human projection of mathematical patterns, onto that which is natural. She has had many artist in residency fellowships, most recently at the Vermont Studio Center. She has participated in many artist’s talks and engagements, as well as many group and solo shows, most recently at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, and the Alte Feuerwache Pojektraum in Berlin, Germany.
